Why Me

A Different Lens: Autism Coaching and How It Complements Therapy

Autism coaching offers a different kind of support than clinical therapy. While therapy often focuses on emotional healing and mental health, coaching is about everyday life, helping you (or your child) discover what works best and build on natural strengths.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and strengths-based. Together, we focus on real-life skills that support confidence, growth, and independence. That might mean creating structure and routines, improving communication and social connections, exploring identity, planning for work or school transitions, or building independent living skills. Every plan is tailored to the person’s unique goals, values, and pace.

Coaching and therapy can work beautifully together. Therapy helps process emotions and build self-understanding, while coaching turns that insight into action, putting strategies into practice in everyday situations. My role as a coach is to walk beside each person (and family when appropriate) as you build confidence, self-advocacy, and a sense of empowerment in your work, school, relationships, and community.

Whether you’re an autistic adult, a teen exploring independence, or a parent seeking support for your child, my goal is to provide a space that feels encouraging, grounded, and focused on what truly matters to you.

Every person and family deserves support that truly fits who they are. If you’re looking for guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to create real progress, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
